The Republic of the Philippines has acceded to the International Trademark convention12 June 2012
On 25 April 2012 the Republic of the Philippines has acceded to the Protocol Relating to the Madrid Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Marks.
The Madrid Protocol (1989) will enter into force, with respect to the Republic of the Philippines, on 25 July 2012.
Currently the countries which have signed the Convention to the Madrid Agreement and Protocol are as follows:
