European and Italian IP offices have granted extensions considering the current limitations to work activities 16 March 2020In light of what is happening in these days at both European and Italian level, and taking into account the limitations to work activities due to the COVID-19 epidemiological emergency, the European and Italian offices for intellectual property have granted some extensions that we report below.

European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) Today – March 16 – the Executive Director of the EUIPO signed a decision extending to 1 May 2020 all deadlines expiring between 9 March 2020 and 30 April 2020 and affecting all parties to the proceedings before the Office. |

European Patent Office (EPO) EPO announced an extension of the deadlines for all matters concerning the Office from the date of publication of the communication – 15 March 2020 – until 17 April 2020. The EPO has also set up a constantly updated page where all the measures adopted are reported. |
