COVID-19: deadlines for UIBM (Italian Patent and Trademark Office) tenders further deferred
Taking into account the limitations imposed on work activities by the epidemiological emergency 12 March 2020
Taking into account the limitations imposed on work activities by the epidemiological emergency created by COVID-19, three different Directorial Decrees have been provided by the Italian Ministry for Economic Development (MiSE) which establish an extension of the deadlines for Designs +4 and POC 2020 tenders, as well as a deferment to the deadline for the Trademarks +3 tender.
The terms – subject to possible new updates provided by the MiSE – are as follows:
- Designs +4 tender: the date for submitting applications for subsidies is set at 9.00 on 22 April 2020
- Tender for implementing patent enhancement programs through the financing of Proof Of Concept (POC) projects: the deadline for submitting applications is set at 24.00 on 20 April 2020
- Trademarks +3 tender: starting date for submitting applications is set at 9.00 on 6 May 2020
