The State Intellectual Property Service of Ukraine appointed as ISA and IPEA under PCT
18 February 2014The State Intellectual Property Service of Ukraine has been appointed by the World Intellectual Property Organisation as International Searching Authority (ISA) and International Preliminary Examining Authority (IPEA) under the Patent Cooperation Treaty.
The relative Agreement was signed on 23 September 2013 at the Assembly of the Member States of WIPO.
The appointment recognized the success of the preparatory work for the modernization of the patent system commenced in 2008 in Ucraine.
