Luca Danelon - passionate about IT since his childhood - joins the GLP team in 1996.
Since 2000, he has been a member of the Italian Naming Authority which determined the procedures and the respective regulations of the Italian Domain Registration Authority. In the same year, in order to be able to monitor the global Internet evolutions, he became member of the At Large Community of ICANN (organisation responsible for global domain name management and resolution of related problems).
During the years, Luca took part in several selected committees during ICANN meetings and has participated in the implementation and testing phases of the certified email system relative to the digital signature of the .IT Registry of the Italian Registy.
In 2004, he follows the release of the Top Level Domain .EU and has been one of the few accredited registrars to deal with all Sunrise phases in Italy from the beginning.
In 2007, he takes part in the technical working group of the .IT Registry which examines and writes the synchronous system for an immediate and paperless registration.
