Davide joined GLP in 1996 after attaining his university degree in law and after working in an important Intellectual Property firm in Washington D.C (United States) where he also attended a Master program in Intellectual Property Law.

Apart from being the head of the firm’s legal department, his daily business comprises consultancy related to patents, trademarks and designs.
Davide assists his National and International clients in Europe and in the main jurisdictions in proceedings regarding all aspects of Intellectual Property, from IP infringement to unfair competition, from the disclosure of trade secrets to employee inventions.
His academic preparation is completed by a remarkable experience in drafting license agreements and in analysing and managing Intellectual Property.
Furthermore, he has gained a considerable experience of representing different companies before the European Patent Office, mainly in opposition proceedings.

After being a visiting professor at the University of Udine for several years, now he's teaching Intellectual Property as a contract professor at the University of Trieste.
Davide is author of different publications and regularly attends Intellectual Property related conferences and seminars as speaker.

He is member of AIDB, ECTA, INTA, INDICAM, MARQUES, LES Italia and of the Italian Association of Industrial Property Consultants (Collegio Italiano dei Consulenti in Proprietà Industriale).
Moreover, he is EURid panelist for domain names .EU and member of the Italian administration counsel of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) and of the technical committee of the Italian-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce.
